I love the saying; “If you have good food in your fridge, you will eat good food.” — Eric McAdams. This simple tip is SO true and one I try to follow as a Holistic Nutritionist! I feel Mother nature’s wonderful and giving abundance is incredibly amazing and nourishing. This is a big part of why I eat healthy and is what motivates me to feed my family healthy too. My daughter is not really a picky eater, but my son has a harder time with the texture of food so I sometimes have to get a little creative with his plate and do things like sweeten his dish more or keep his sides simple with a less grainy or seedy consistency. For the most part though we strive for the 80/20 idea {where some days flow much better than others :o) }. Nonetheless, over the years I’ve learned to really ease up. Mainly because, I believe it’s also important to let my  kids be kids, and my biggest role is to simply be the example I want to set. Ultimately each person has to walk their own journey, discover their palette and hopefully learn how to become their own best version of themselves. I understand my story will be different from that of my children, my husband, and my friends + family. We are all unique and will experience our own connection and relationship with food.

Having said that, in my day-to-day I follow a mostly wholefood plant-based lifestyle with a little organic grass-fed meat {mostly poultry or wild caught fish}. This works best for me and I honestly LOVE the taste of wholefoods.  I feel calmer and more grounded, my skin is brighter, my digestion is humming, and I love having so much energy and vibrancy to show up each day more fully, empowered + deliciously happy!!

One tool that’s been absolutely amazing and extremely helpful in keeping it simple and fun is an app called Plan to Eat where I have all my recipes stored in a database.  Click on the link above for a free 30-day trial if you’re interested and see what this little gem will do for you and your family. It’s definitely made meal planning more fun and an organized priority…

Hope you love these recipes as much as I do!   Enza xx
